Snug as a bug in a rug

The nights are drawing in, the long lazy hacks of the summer are soon to be a treasured distant memory as we head towards winter with a sense of trepidation, as we repeatedly trudge knee deep into the mud to fetch in our ‘Dirty Berty’ from what we refer to as a field or ‘bog’ as it more commonly becomes known as.

We vow to wrap our beloved ‘mortgage busting’ horses up as if ready and totally prepared for arctic temperatures in the latest technology enhanced rugs and pray that our horse attempts to keep it clean, in tact and in place. But who are we kidding, this is the British winter and horses will be horses and things will get ‘trashed’ on occasion.

Do not fear, however when the rolling, nibbling and playing starts. Be appeased by the fact that no matter which Windmill feeds store you drop your rugs off at, it will be cleaned, repaired as necessary and available for collection at your chosen store…all ready and prepared for the cycle to begin again.
